Description

Highlighting this perennial are spreading mats of fern-like rosettes, along with deeply divided, aromatic leaves of a gray green color. In this variety, the flowers are red with yellow centers, blooming in spring and summer. Following bloom, one should dead head the plant and divide clump head the plant and divide the clumps when it appears crowded. This plant reaches 2' tall and wide. It does best in full sun with sandy, well draining, average to poor soil. Dead head spent flowers to promote more blooms. This variety tends to stay more upright than other cultivars.
