Fernbush
Description
Delicate-looking shrub but actually very cold-hardy. Tolerates heat except in the low desert especially during summer. Fernbush will grow to about 5' tall and wide, although some specimens can grow to 8'. White, lilac-like blossoms in the summer can attract hummingbirds and bees. Long lived, semi-evergreen, fragrant light green ferny foliage. Mature bark becomes flaky and reddish. Full sun, well drained. Evergreen in mild, deciduous in cold climates.
