Cotoneaster dammeri
Bearberry Cotoneaster
Description
This prostrate, trailing evergreen shrub is primarily used as a ground cover, reaching 1'-1.5' tall and spreading 6'. It is highlighted with bright green, ovate to rounded leaves with prominent veins. During the spring, small white flowers cover the plant. In the fall and winter, Bearberry Cotoneaster is accented by small, bright red berries. It does best in full or part sun and is not particular with the soil. It has low water needs once it's established.
